Bryan Michael Klacik was born on November 16, 1981, and passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends.
Bryan loved life. His passions were motorcycles and any off-road machine with wheels and a motor. Bryan was fearless. Bryan woke up every day with a smile on his face and that same smile was there when he went to bed at night. Bryan had an amazing smile. His eyes sparkled with life and love. Those of us who were blessed with that smile, will never forget the simple beauty of it.
Bryan loved his dogs and kittens. He loved camping and a good bonfire, shooting pool and trips to the park and beach. Bryan loved to tinker in the garage and mowing the grass. Anything to keep him outside or enjoying life with friends. Bryan was always willing to help a friend or a stranger in need. Bryan was proud of the many charitable endeavors he was part of. Bryan loved attending rock concerts and music. This was his favorite activity. Music was part of his very soul.
Bryan was an amazing husband to his wife, Darnell and a truly amazing father to Carlito and Bradley. Bryan gave his time and energy to building the best life possible for his family. A job well done.
Bryan had a wonderful, infectious sense of humor. His humor drew people into his life to find joy and happiness. No one who felt his presence and joy will ever forget the privilege of being in his light.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife, Darnell Wheeler-Klacik, his two wonderful sons Carlito Otero and Bradley Klacik, mother Toni (Wilbur) St Myer, father, Michael Klacik, brother, Jason (Jeannie) Klacik, sister Dessa Gough, cousin Nick Klacik and former stepmother Babs Klacik, father and mother in-law, Steve and Linda Streamer, brothers in-law, Jason (Aparna) Wheeler, Herb Wheeler. Bryan is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who he adored and several aunts and uncles and cousins. He is also survived by numerous friends he considered family.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 6 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 Sand Road, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
