Bruce A Schroeder

Bruce A. Schroeder, 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio died Friday, January 26, 2018 at Heartland of Perrysburg. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on October 16, 1933 to Walter and Esther Schroeder. Bruce attended the University of Minnesota and was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for several grocery and food companies and was among other things, a general manager of meatpacking plants. Bruce was also an Exchange Club member and was on many committees at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg over the years. Bruce married his sweetheart, Carol Stoven, on December 28, 1957, and together they shared almost 60 years together until her passing on December 18, 2017. Carol and Bruce were members of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. Bruce is survived by his sons, Erik, Craig (Betsy) and Kurt (Lynn) Schroeder; grandchildren, Peyton, Sonja, Holden and Julia. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife. Funeral services for Bruce will be private.
