Bruce A. Glaser, 50, of Oak Harbor passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the E.R. at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. He was born on July 19, 1968 in Oregon, OH to James and Ruth Ann (Bennett) Glaser. On April 29, 2000 in Oak Harbor he married Michele Gluth and she survives. Bruce earned a degree in electricity thru Terra Community College while working at Whirlpool for 10 years. He then attained his Journeyman’s card and worked for the IBEW Local 8 Fremont Unit for 27 years. During this time Bruce served as Vice-Chairman of the Fremont Unit, as a steward on many jobs, sergeant-at-arms in past election, and as a trustee on the JATC Committee. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion John A. Fader Post #114 in Oak Harbor and the Eagles in Fremont. In the past he had enjoyed snowmobiling. Bruce loved his kids more than anything. In addition to his wife, Michele, Bruce is survived by his children, Madison Glaser and Kyle Glaser, parents, James and Ruth Ann Glaser, twin brother, Brian Glaser, sister, Brenda (Troy) Silveous, mother-in-law, Connie Gluth, brother-in-law, Scott (Amy) Gluth, and nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Randy Gluth. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor with interment to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions for Bruce may be given to Carroll Township E.M.S. or Mid-County E.M.S.
