Brooke Lynn Jacoby

August 12, 1983 — February 27, 2022

Brooke Lynn Jacoby passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the age of 38. Born to Mark and DeeDee Jacoby on August 12, 1983, Brooke was the oldest of four children. She was a special girl who had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor and was a friend to everyone she met.

After graduating from Southview High School in 2004, Brooke immediately became an active member of the Sunshine community where she eventually became a resident.

Brooke had a remarkable way of connecting with people. She also endeared herself to friends and family by making up creative nicknames for them which are still used today.

Brooke was pure of heart and had unconditional love for everyone. All her family and friends are better people because of Brooke’s presence in their lives.

Her family is sincerely thankful for all the employees and volunteers at Sunshine for their care and support of Brooke throughout her life.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Mark and DeeDee Jacoby; siblings Betsy (Bobby) Greenleaf, Tom (Lauren) Jacoby, Max (Jordan) Jacoby; 6 nieces and nephews and 28 cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Walker Funeral Home ( 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. ) on Friday, March 4, from 4-7 pm . A Funeral Mass will be held at Rosary Cathedral ( 2535 Collingwood Blvd. ) on Saturday, March 5, at 10:30 am , with an hour of visitation starting at 9:30 am . In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Brooke’s honor to the Sunshine Community, 7223 Maumee Western Road, Maumee, OH 43537 .
