Brian Wampler, 47, of Fremont, OH, passed away, Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Arbors of Clyde, Clyde, OH. Brian was born on November 28, 1963 in Fremont, OH, the son of Wise and Barbara I. Burke Wampler. He attended Clyde High School and received his GED. On July 27, 1991 in Fremont, OH, he married Cathie J. Byington and she survives. Brian worked as a laborer for Armstrong for 10 years. He was a member of the Victory Christian Fellowship Church, Fremont, OH. Brian loved to cook and spend time with his family. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. Brian will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Cathie J. Wampler of Fremont; Children: Kristina Wampler of Findlay, Adam W. Amanda Wampler Sr. of Elyria, Crystal Joseph Jurovcik Pierce of Fremont, Brian Tonya Byington of Fremont and Brian KJ Wampler of Fremont; Grandchildren: Malaki, Kendra, Adam Jr., Billy, Gage, Brandon, Jaquilynn, Joey, Kaleb, Brianna, Sierra and Dominic; Brothers Sisters: Betty Albert Silva of Green Springs, Charles Dee Wampler of Fremont; Freddie Joyce Wampler of Clyde, Wise Wampler Jr., Albert Rex Hill, Teresa Hileman, Debbie Cassel all of VA and many loving nieces nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, brothers sisters: Gary Allan Wampler, Wanda Lynn Wampler, Eddie Lee Wampler, Wade Edward Wampler, Barthena Tenny Vermillion, Walter Lee Wampler and father-in-law: J.D. Mowel. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8PM, Friday, February 04, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Earl Taylor at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 05, 2011 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions in memory of Brian may be given to the family.
