Brian Scott Jackson, 53, of Rossford, died December 11, 2021, at St. Vincent/Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, after a one-month battle with Covid 19. Brian was born March 23, 1968, in Toledo to the late Jeffrey and Cheryl (Zimmerman) Jackson. He graduated from Northwood High School and attended Penta Vocational School. Brian served for four years in the United States Navy in San Diego, California, Guam and the Philippines. He was employed at Amazon and had previously worked in Environmental Services at St. Charles Hospital. A humble and selfless man, Brian appreciated the simple things in life. He valued his relationships with family, good 1980’s rock music, especially Kiss, Motley Crue and Van Halen, and watching professional wrestling. Brian was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverines, relishing the recent success of his team. Go Blue! He is lovingly survived by his sisters, Adrienne Jackson, Natalie Jackson, and Sarah Estopinal; nieces and nephews, John Segura, Jr., Joshua Laesch, Carley Laesch, Dominic Schuler, and Samuel Estopinal; and close friends, Diane Laesch-Reyes, Mike Laesch, and Matthew Hawkins. Family and friends are invited to visit from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, where a ceremony to share Brian’s story and celebrate his life will begin at 3:00 p.m. There will be a Jack Daniels Toast to conclude. The family request, in lieu of flowers, that donations are made to Brian’s Tribute Fund either at the funeral home on Sunday or on this page.
