Brian H. Hollabaugh, age 65 of Northwood, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 16, 2020 at his home. He was born on October 4, 1954 in Toledo to Robert and Kathryn (Lavrar) Hollabaugh. Brian was a 1972 graduate of Rossford High School. He married his soulmate Patricia (Pastorek) in 1977. Brian was employed with a plastic film factory for over 30 years. He was an avid bowler, played multiple sports, enjoyed boating and loved to fish. He had previously run the Rossford Soccer Club coaching both boys and girls soccer teams. Coach Hollabaugh established the first Girls Varsity Soccer Team at Rossford High School and coached them to a Sectional Championship in 2000. His family meant everything to him and his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patricia; son, Bryan R. (Kelly); daughters, Brandy (Matt) Bertz and Bridget Hollabaugh; grandchildren, Brian D. Hollabaugh, Drew, Alexis, Harper Journie and Noah Bertz; He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William and Bobby Hollabaugh; sister, Bonnie Materni; and brother in-law, August “Chip” Pastorek. Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd. on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 2 to 8 p.m. A private funeral service and interment will take place on Saturday. The family would like to give a special thank you to nurse Amy and aides, Alea and Riley. In lieu of flowers contributions in Brian’s memory may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the family.
