Brenda Lucas

Brenda K. Lucas, 54, of Port Clinton, passed away, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Parkview Care Center, Fremont, OH, with her family by her side. Brenda was born on January 08, 1957 in Sullivan County, TN, the daughter of Douglas Paul and Virginia Marie Marshall Lucas. Brenda was a homemaker. She was involved with the American Cancer Society Light the Way, volunteered and helped with the activities and games at Lake View Estates and helped with the Boy Scouts Troop #302 in Fremont, OH. Brenda loved animals, crafts and country music, especially blue grass. But first and foremost she loved her family and friends, she was a very loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include: Daughter: Stephanie Arthur Howey of Fremont; Son: Jeremy Harris of Columbus; Step-son: Michael Kimberly Marinoff of Gibsonburg; Parents: Virginia Norman Taylor of Port Clinton; Sisters: Sandy Hayward Evans of Port Clinton and Diana Tony Manness of Kylesford, TN; Brothers: Darrell Irene Taylor of Port Clinton, Gary Barb Taylor of Port Clinton, Randall Tammy Lucas of Sneedville, TN and Eugene Lucas of Rogersville, TN; 4 Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, 2 nephews and grandmother: Mary K. Marshall. A Memorial gathering will be from 2-4PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
