Brenda Lee Corey, of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away at her home on September 9, 2015 with her loving family at her side. Born December 13, 1948 in Lansing, MI, she graduated from Lansing Everett High School in 1967. Brenda married A. Barry Corey on November 11, 1967 and he survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Angela (Doug) Reiner and Tina (Keith) Ramsdell; grandchildren, Noah, Sarah and Emily Reiner, Olivia, Zachariah, Elijah, Joshua and Lucas Ramsdell; sisters, Judy (Ron) Koonter and Linda (Gary) Castner; and step father, Charlie Jones. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Moses and Ethel Jones; and sister, Betty Lou Brewster. Brenda was a homemaker and attended Whiteford Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed going to the beach and boating, but found her greatest enjoyment in spending time with her beloved family, especially her little ones. She will be remembered for her devotion to and active involvement in the lives of her family. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.), Toledo, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2015. Graveside committal services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing, Michigan. Memorials are suggested Whiteford Wesleyan Church, 10285 Sylvania-Petersburg Rd., Ottawa Lake, MI 49267 or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
