Brant Lora

Brant J. Lora was born March 21, 1966 in Cherry Point, NC to Rosmarie & Dan Lora. Brant grew up in McComb, Ohio where he was a wrestler and proud member of McComb Panthers football including being part of the 1983 state football championship team.

Brant was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and rarely missed a game. He took every opportunity to shower family members with all kinds of OSU merchandise and would talk about the Buckeyes with everyone.

Brant spent the last years of his life working alongside his Mother operating Beef Creek Marina. He loved Lake Erie and looked forward to each spring when marina customers would return, talk fishing and enjoy all the area had to offer.

Family and friends meant everything to Brant. He will be deeply missed by all and remembered for his gruff exterior and big heart.

Brant was predeceased by his father and brother James Thomas (Tom) Lora. Brant is survived by his mother, daughter Emerson Lora, brothers (Max) Lee (Susy) Lora & Harold Lora, and nieces Marissa, Shannon and Madison and nephews Brandon, Austin and Gage along with great nieces and nephew.

Family and friends may offer condolences at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 165 E. Water Street, Oak Harbor, Ohio, on Monday, August 3, 2026 between 3:00-7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting the American Heart Association or a charity of their choice in Brant's memory.
