Bradley E Whitaker

Bradley Earl Whitaker, age 49, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018. Brad was born on April 4, 1969 to Roy R. and Barbara (Rice) Whitaker in Oregon, Ohio. He was a 1987 graduate of Lake High School. Brad was a Pipefitter and Welder and was previously employed by H. Hansen Industries in Toledo and Purvis and Foster, Inc. in Detroit. He was a former member of First Baptist Church in Perrysburg and a member of the Boilermaker’s Union. Brad’s favorite pastimes included hunting and enjoying the outdoors with his buddy, Gary. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Roy and Barbara; son, Dillon B. (Hayley Turner) Whitaker; grandson, Liam N. Whitaker; brothers, Bryan D. (Sharon) Whitaker and Christopher K. (Dawn Kurek) Whitaker; aunt, Gladys Rice; uncle, Willard Rice, both of Oil Springs, KY; and aunt, Louise (Jim) Gillespie of Walbridge; many loving cousins and other extended family members along with his beloved dog, Peanut. Friends will be received from 2:00-8:00 pm. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, Ohio.
