Boyd M. Frazier, Jr., 86, of Perrysburg, OH died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on January 28, 1929 in Toledo to Boyd M. and Imogene (Kazmaier) Frazier. Boyd was a 1947 graduate of Perrysburg High School and graduated from Purdue University in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant during the Korean War and was assigned for duty with the 553rd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Control Detachment. From 1971 to the present, Boyd has owned and operated Frazier Machine and Production Inc. He was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. He is survived by his wife, Sally (Schauweker) Frazier; sons, Jeffrey B. (Kim) Frazier and David M. (Julie) Frazier; stepson, Tripp (Amy) Barrie; grandchildren, Andrew (Courtney) Frazier, Diana (Steve) Blevins, Brandon Frazier, Steven (Caitlin) Frazier, Emily Barrie and Michael Barrie; four great-grandchildren. Boyd was preceded in death by both parents, Doris J. Eversole, wife and mother of Jeffrey and David, and brother, Frank W. Frazier. At Boyd’s request private graveside services were held at Fort Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum officiating.
