Bonnie Wilcox

August 11, 1947 — August 3, 2024

Bonnie Wilcox (Heter) of Northwood, OH, passed away to the loving arms of Jesus after a long journey of dementia. She was a devout Catholic who loved Jesus and volunteered much of her time at her home parish of St. Thomas Moore in Bowling Green.

She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University and dedicated her career to helping those with disabilities. Bonnie was a very talented artist of many mediums but her most cherished was water color painting. She enjoyed bowling, tubing down the AuSable River, road trips and playing cards and Yahtzee.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Aaron) Rozek; grandchildren, Isaiah and Lillian; brothers, Dale (Marilyn) Heter and Carl (Sharon) Heter; sisters-in-law, Carrie Heter and Barbara Heter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Esther Heter; and brothers, Bruce, Larry, and Glenn Heter.

The Funeral Mass for Bonnie will be held August 31, 2024, at 10 am in The Family Life Center at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sylvania. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be given to The Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
