Bonnie L. Vargo

Bonnie L. Vargo, 80, of Sandusky, OH, , met her savior and was reunited with her eternal family, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH, following a short illness. Bonnie was born on March 11, 1933 in Sandusky, the daughter of Walter and Ethelyn Zepernick Richards. Bonnie graduated from Margaretta High School in 1951. She married George J. Vargo and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Christ in Castalia, OH. She worked at the Folding Box Co., J.Rs Hallmark and retired from GTE in 1990. Bonnie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Leaves to mourn her: Daughter: Robyne Gardner; Grandson: Steve Rosie Nagy; Great-Grandsons: Jack Jay Nagy; Sisters: Phyllis Baker Carole Dillman and many loving nieces nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Howard Dennis Richards. Visitation will be 11-12pm, Friday, November 15, 2013, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH, followed by funeral service held at 12:00PM. Interment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Bonnie may be given to the Alzheimers Association, 2500 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH 43615.
