Bonnie J. Seaman, 72, of Oak Harbor, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born on October 28, 1938 in Port Clinton to James M. and Nelta Schmidt Seaman. Before her retirement, Bonnie worked as a nurses aide at Riverview Nursing Home and as a librarian at the Oak Harbor Public Library. She had a big heart for the homeless and less fortunate and volunteered at the Benton-Carroll-Salem Food Pantry at St. Paul United Church of Christ. Bonnie is survived by her three sons: Wesley Worthington of Biloxi, Mississippi, William Worthington of Elba, Alabama, and Michael Worthington of Florida, and her brother: Wesley Barbara Seaman of Locust Grove, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday evening October 11, 2011 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions for Bonnie may be directed to the Benton-Carroll-Salem Food Pantry at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor.
