Bonnie Piasecki

Bonnie L. (McFarlin) Piasecki, 74, of Liberty Center, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at her daughter’s home. Bonnie was born June 1, 1945 in Pemberville, Ohio to Ernest and Thelma (West) McFarlin. She married Richard D. Piasecki on May 4, 1963, sharing 55 beautiful years together. In Bonnie’s earlier years she was an avid bowler, lover of card games, and trivia. She enjoyed being a homemaker; having an eye for decorating and cooking. When she wasn’t doing those things, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and looked forward to every Sunday family dinner at her daughter’s. After she retired from First Federal Bank of Delta, she dedicated most of her time to her parish, St. Patrick Church-Providence in Grand Rapids, Ohio. She was known to be a giving, passionate woman with a kind heart, sass, and great sense of humor. She is survived by her children, Kristin (Jeffrey) Lewis and Cory (Linda) Piasecki; grandchildren, Kaitlin (Daniel) Otanicar, Halie Lewis, Page (Cory Hawkins) Piasecki, and sister, Keryl Lowe. Along with her doting husband, Richard, Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glen “Butch” McFarlin, and sister, Betty Klijewski. Thank you to St. Patrick Church-Providence for their continued thoughts and prayers during her journey with cancer. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery, 620 W. Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
