Bonnie Jean Wamer Muir

Bonnie Jean (Wamer) Muir, 81, of Rossford passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born June 16, 1930 to Fillmore and Jeannette (June) Wamer in Toledo, Ohio. Bonnie was a graduate from Waite High School. She worked as an Office Manager for GTCS, a family business for 18 years before retiring. Bonnie enjoyed bingo, playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her numerous grandchildren. Bonnie is survived by her children, Fred W. (Jan) Muir Jr., Phil C. (Donna) Muir, Ron L. (Jackie) Muir, Sherry L. (Dave) Rummage, Beth A. (Dave) McAllister, Nina M. (Greg Toomey) Talbert, Kathy J. (Larry) Brennan; grandchildren, Jason (Jenn), Brooke, Christy, Carrie (Mike), Scott (Stacy), Ron, Matt, Stephanie (Dennis), Stacie (George), Hank (Mariah) Michael (Kelly), Danielle, Tara (James), Casey and Mandi (Adam);step-grandchildren, Dave, Chris (Kristie) and Eric; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanette (John) Berning, Carolyn Warns, Phyllis (Herbert) Griner, Larry (Bev) Wamer, Lila Younkin, Dan (Carol) Wamer, Patricia (Ron) Sedlak-Schinhart, Walter (Jo) Wamer and Rex (Dorothy) Wamer; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Mcguire, Nancy Wamer, Geneva Wamer and Jan Wamer. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, David Rummage Jr., great-grandson, Jordan Talbert, siblings, Joyce Mcquire, Mary Christian, James, Bob and Michael Wamer, brothers-in-law, James Sedlak Sr., Ray Younkin and Vernon Warns, and special friend, Marie Tucker. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 2-9 PM at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 222 E.S. Boundary St. Perrysburg, OH., 43551 (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
