Bonnie Sue Crawford

Bonnie Sue Crawford, 67, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2024. She was born on January 27, 1957, in Port Clinton to Forrest and Hazel (Brundage) Ringeisen. Bonnie was a proud graduate of Port Clinton High School and spent her life surrounded by her family and friends in the community she loved.

Bonnie married David Crawford on June 13, 1979, and together they shared many years of love and companionship until his passing in 2019. Bonnie worked as an online order fulfillment associate at Walmart for many years, where she found great joy in her work family, especially her dear friend Sandy.

Bonnie had a deep love for horses and enjoyed spending her free time at yard sales, always on the lookout for hidden treasures. She was an avid reader, particularly enjoying the works of Stephen King and other mystery and horror novels. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her family, especially her Wednesday night dinners with her brother, Boot.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Jamie (Dana) Crawford, Amie Crawford; step-children, Dava Neff, Shawn (Missy) Crawford, Laurie Lipp; her brothers, John (Renee) Ringeisen, Donald Ringeisen, Ronald Ringeisen; and numerous beloved brother and sister-in-laws, including Mike Crawford, Sharon (Herbie) Mullens, Suzie Sarnes, and Ronald (Billy Jo) Crawford. Bonnie was also a proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, with 3 great-granddaughters and another on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Hazel Ringeisen; her husband, David; granddaughter, Tabitha; and great-grandson, Avion.

A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Bay Township Hall, 4471 W. Fremont Road, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. Memorial donations in Bonnie's honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
