Bonnie L. Castellese, age 71, of Lambertville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. A native of Toledo, Bonnie was born July 15, 1942 to the late Bea Morrette and Jerry Koepfer. She graduated from Whitmer High School and worked as a secretary for 28 years at Chrysler/Jeep. Bonnie enjoyed dancing, shopping and working in her flower garden. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and loved the Detroit Tigers and Mud Hens. She also loved animals, the outdoors, especially being around water, and although she could not carry a tune, Bonnie enjoyed singing. She will be fondly remembered for her unconditional acceptance of every person and for her ageless beauty, energetic and magnetic personality. Bonnie was affectionately known as G-Bon by the grandchildren whom she adored. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alex; children, Kim Steve Drayer and Bill Theresa Brennan; grandchildren, Lauren and Dillon Drayer, Amanda Guy OConnor, Billy, Jolene, Travis and Wesley Brennan; great grandson, Keagan; sisters, Barb Kennedy and Bev Bruce Hickman; step daughter, Corey Tim Lambert; step grandchildren, Devon, Dakota, Peyton and Darian Lambert; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bonnie was also preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Brennan; grandson, Josh Brennan; step son, Sam Castellese; brother-in-law, Jack Kennedy; and nephew, Jeff Apostle. Visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. Thursday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014. Committal services and burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
