Bonita Szul

Bonnie (Panning) Szul, of Rossford was born January 8, 1939 to Fred and Helen (Mieczkowski) Panning and died February 12, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with family at her bedside.

Bonnie grew up in South Toledo and attended Libbey High School, class of 1957.

She retired from Sears and the Rossford Library. An avid reader from a young age, she loved a good mystery novel. Her passion for gardening was evident in her beautiful home gardens.

Survived by her husband, John; daughter, Eileen; son, Richard (Kelli); 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Sheryl and Charlene.

Friends will be received on Thursday February 19, 2026 from 10 A.M. until the time of Services at 11:30 A.M. at Lutheran Church of the Master, Perrysburg (28744 Simmons Rd.). Burial, Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg.
