Bobbie L. Headley

Bobbie Headley, 66, of Toledo passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born in Toledo on March 5, 1950 to Howard and Roberta (Lemke) Blair. She graduated from Waite High School in 1968. Bobbie proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. She enlisted shortly after graduation and was in the Air Force reserves until 1985. At that time she was employed with Ohio Job and Family Services, working with veterans. Bobbie enjoyed reading, boating, and especially spending time at her cottage on Devils Lake. She was a past member of The Toledo Yacht Club. Surviving Bobbie are her mother, Roberta Blair Ueberroth; brothers, John (Mika) and Bruce (Terri) Blair; sisters, Rebecca (Danny) McWatters and Beth Blair; best friend, Kim Grimes; step children, Raymond Headley, Robyn (Headley) Clegg and Ryan Headley; and several nieces, nephews and pets. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Earl Headley. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (West of Cory Rd.). Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday in the funeral home at 11:00am, with Deacon Leon Homer officiating. Entombment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park with Northwood VFW Post 2984 military honors.
