Blaine R. Buck Skinner, 59, of Oak Harbor, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born February 29, 1952, in Oak Harbor, Ohio, the son of Lloyd Earl and Alice Rachel Lieske Skinner. Buck was a 1970 graduate of Oak Harbor High School, where he played football and was a state champion in wrestling. He worked as a laborer for Local #480 and worked many side jobs including a partnering job in Good-N-Nuff construction. Buck loved hunting, fishing and card playing. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. Buck loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughters, Tausha Antony Sharples of Genoa and Michelle Mike Abbott Skinner of Strongsville, Ohio, step daughter, Monica McCann of Oak Harbor, spouse, Vicki McCann of Oak Harbor, grandchildren, Braeden and Hallie Sharples, siblings, Violet Chuck Brough, Iva Ivy Wes Whiteman, Terry Pete Janet Skinner, Darwin Gail Skinner, Norvin Dig Tonia Skinner, Tana William Colanduoni and Shelia Verb, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews. Buck was preceded in death by his father, brother, Leroy Skinner, nephews, John and Lou Brough, and dog Nikki. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 201, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 21, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Locust Point Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions for Buck may be given to a charity of the donors choice.
