Billy W. Wells

Billy W. Wells, 57, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Bay Park Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born on October 20, 1955 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Robert Ralph and Hazel Horner Wells. On August 29, 2009 in Oak Harbor, OH, he married his wife, Michelle and she survives. Bill worked as a computer neumerical controller at Kelsey Hayes in Fremont. He was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Bill was a member of the Ottawa County Billards club and the Sandusky County Billards club. Bill was a soft hearted and compassionate person. He was a very outgoing social person who loved to make people laugh. Bill loved sports , was a Detroit Tigers fan and loved to play poker. He especially loved his grandkids. Bill will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Wife: Michelle Wells of Oak Harbor; Daughters: Jessica Wells and Nicole Wells both of Port Clinton; Step-Daughters: Kristy Andrew Petrine of Valley City, OH, Lauren Justin Smith of Castalia, OH, Rebekah Thorbahn of Oak Harbor and Korrin Thorbahn of Toledo, OH; Grandchildren: Ellijah Dominguez, Morgan Dominguez, Kyla Wells and Makenna Wells; Brothers: Bob Dawne Wells of St. Louis, MO, Ed Shirley Wells and Anthony Andrea Wells both of Port Clinton; Sister: Deb Dean Croney of Port Clinton; Nieces Nephews: Michele, Stephanie, Melanie, Abbie, Rob, Mat, Andy, Jannah, Alyssa and Adam; Great Nieces Nephews: Cede, Trent, Paige, Victoria, Ariel, Dylan, JoAnna, Sasha, Yasmine, Breeanna, Bailey and Paige. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, nieces: Amber and an infant niece. Visitation will be 2-8PM, Friday, December 21, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, December 22 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Billy may be given to the Family or Lymphoma Society.
