Bill J. Robertson

Bill Robertson age 92 of Toledo, passed away on Sunday August 22, 2010 at Ridgewood Manor Care Center. Bill was born in Big Beaver, MI on October 9th, 1917 to William and Maude McCormick Robertson. Bill was employed at L.O.F. Thermopane. He was an Army Veteran during WWII serving with the 4th division in the 20th Field Artillery. Bill lived his life for his wife and family. He enjoyed attending his grandchildrens sporting events, TKB softball, woodworking and home improvements. Bill was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Bud Thomson; grandchildren, Jennifer Greg Guzman, Jason and Matthew Robertson and Jamie, Kellie and Leslie Thomson and great-grandchildren, Miranda and Caiden. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Marilyn; son, Scott Robertson; daughter in-law, Patricia Robertson and sisters, Velva May and Eva Faye. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Thursday August 26, 2010 from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am.
