Bill T. Dudley

William T. “Bill” Dudley, 78, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Wood County Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born October 8, 1938 in Norwalk, Ohio to Harry and Mary (Taber) Dudley. Bill proudly served our country in the United States Army. He married Joyce C. Jeska on October 29, 1960 in Maumee, Ohio. Bill worked as an insurance salesman and financial broker for Prudential Insurance Company. He was a former charter member of the Rossford Lions Club, a former member of the Rossford Business Association and the National Association of Life Underwriters; and a former member of the Toledo Sailing Club. He loved the water and being on his boat. Along with his wife Joyce, Bill is survived by his daughters, Margo (Tim) Jerome and Jennifer (Wayne) Kauffmann; grandchildren, Rachel and David Jerome and Meghan, Alex and Zach Kauffmann. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Yetter. Friends will be received Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. and 5-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133) Visitation will continue Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 with funeral services beginning at 11 A.M. with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum, officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zoar Lutheran Church.
