Beverly Ann Stringham

Beverly Ann Stringham, 74, of Toledo, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Heartland of Oregon, Oregon, Ohio. Beverly was born May 23, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, to Rollie and Rose Abernathy Gingrich. On January 31, 1953, in Angola, Indiana, she married Donald W. Stringham, and he preceded her in death June 13, 1997. Beverly was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post #2984 in Northwood and bartended there for 23 years. Her survivors include her daughters and sons, Donna William Renfer, Linda Bill Kummerer Baugher, Cynthia Larry Merrell, Gale Tom Swartzlander, Mark Stringham and Douglas Stringham; 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Mary, Leona, Helen, Dorth, Betty, Ruth, Alice, Robert, Richard, and Tom and grandson, Donald Merrell. The family would like to thank Heartland of Oregon nurses and aides for their wonderful care: Lindsay, Brad, Jennifer, Janette, Crystal, Candy, Kristin, Nicole, Patsy, and Sharon; and to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. There will be no visitation or services, and burial will take place in Restlawn Cemetery, Perrysburg, at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa has assisted the family with arrangements.
