Beverly Evelyn Stansfield, age 87, of Holland, Ohio died peacefully, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Lakes of Monclova. She was born in Amsterdam, New York on May 8, 1926 to Ralph and Hazel (Compton) Utter. Beverly was employed by the Toledo Area Metroparks as the Volunteer Coordinator-Supervisor at the Manor House at Wildwood. She was a member of the Holland Free Methodist Church for over 50 years where she also taught Sunday school. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, was an avid reader of historical books and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Leslie G. (William) Snell, Pamela K. (Robert) Grabarczyk and Timothy C. (Carol) Stansfield; grandchildren, Jennifer Stearns, Andrew Costell, Joseph Costell, Anthony Grabarczyk, Daniel Grabarczyk, Catherine Baker, Mark Stansfield, Luke Stansfield and Ellen Stansfield; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson as well as her sister, Gloria Stansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Hazel; husband, Charles; sisters, Edvina Webster, Garnette Haile, twin sister Bernice Webster, Paula Stansfield, Paulette Yunker, Dawn Webster and her brother Ralph Utter. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2-8:00 PM at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Thomas Hoover at Hope United Methodist Church, 10610 Waterville Street located in Whitehouse, Ohio. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so in her name to the Wounded Warriors Project. Her family would like to thank all the staff at the Lakes of Monclova for their kind and compassionate care.
