Beverly L. Patrick died January 16, 2017, at her Maumee home of frontotemporal dementia, after a long illness. Mrs. Patrick was born July 12, 1932 in New Britain, Connecticut, to Leon and Helen (Friden) Lambert. She attended the New Britain High School in New Britain, CT. She continued her education and graduated from the Grace New Haven Hospital School of Nursing (now Yale New Haven Hospital). It is while working at Yale New Haven Hospital that she met her husband, Dr. James R. Patrick. She was a former docent at the Toledo Museum of Art and active in the Toledo Opera and Chairman’s Wives of the Medical College of Ohio. Her interests were her family, painting, weaving, gardening, historic preservation and cooking. She is survived by her husband, Dr. James R. Patrick; daughters, Nancy P. Greeley (Charles) and Susanna P. Hedblom (Lawrence); son, Dr. James L. Patrick, and sister-in-law, Mary P. Moll. Visitation will be held this Saturday, January 21, 2017 between 2 pm and 5 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toledo Museum of Art Docent Program, P.O Box 1013, Toledo, Ohio 43697 and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio.
