Beverly Marie Mcneeley

Beverly M McNeeley, Age 96, passed away March 19, 2023, at Kingston Rehab in Perrysburg, OH.

Beverly M Reitzel was born on February 27, 1927, in Perrysburg, OH to Raymond & Ila Reitzel. She had one loving brother, Keith Reitzel (deceased) and sister, Marilyn (Reitzel) Goeckerman. She loved growing up on a farm where she rode horses and learned to drive a tractor.

Beverly married her husband, Donald Ralph McNeeley in Oct of 1949. Together they built their house on Stanwix in Toledo, where they lived, laughed, and raised their two boys, Shawn McNeeley, and Kevin McNeeley. Tragically, Don preceded Beverly in death in 1980. Beverly continued to welcome family and friends into this same home for 72 years. Beverly worked for many years as a bus driver for Trinity Lutheran, and 20 years as a supervisor for Lott Industries. She enjoyed working with the special needs adults who were her clients.

Beverly is lovingly remembered by her surviving family and friends, sister and best friend Marilyn Goeckerman; son, Shawn McNeeley married to Maryann McNeeley; son, Kevin McNeeley married to Carol McNeeley; granddaughter, Erin McNeeley; grandsons, Adam, Andrew, and Aaron McNeeley; and great-granddaughter, Rilynn McNeeley; as well as countless cousins, nieces and nephews and the many people that she counted as friends. Beverly will be missed for her kindness, warmth, and beautiful smile. Keep smiling Bev!

Funeral services will take place Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11 am in Trinity Lutheran Church, 4560 Glendale Ave. Toledo, Ohio 43614 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment to follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, Ohio. The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church. Condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
