Beverly Marie (Dziak) Brantley

Beverly Marie (Dziak) Brantley, 81, of Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Otterbein Northshore Retirement Center, Lakeside, Ohio. She was born on February 7, 1942 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Peter and Lillian (Fedor) Dziak. She was married to James Palmer Brantley from 1963-1982.

She attended Bowling Green State University, and then graduated from Mississippi College with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She worked many years as a social worker and also as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor until her retirement.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Brantley Workman, Roanoke Virginia; son, Jay (Stephanie) Brantley, Brandon, Mississippi; brother, Rick (Mary) Dziak, Marblehead, Ohio; grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Samuel Workman, Rachel, Palmer, Claire Brantley; niece, Sarah (Matt) Swanton; nephew, Dan (Kate) Dziak; numerous cousins, and family friend, Gayla Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Nancy Jo Dziak.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of the donor’s choice.
