Beverly Laughlin

Beverly “Bev” Lee Laughlin, 71, of Sylvania, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. She was born on April 19, 1952, in Fostoria to Guyse and Martha (Herr) Allen. Raised in Rising Sun, Bev was a 1970 graduate of Lakota High School. She met her husband, William Laughlin, in Sylvania and married shortly after. She was a feisty, kind, generous person who was always willing to help those in need. Peanut butter cups and chocolate covered cherries were her favorite treats, even willing SOMETIMES to share with others. She worked many years at Creative Badge and Awards.

Bev is survived by her children, Mike Laughlin, Karen Davis; grandchildren, J.R. Davis, Tori Davis, Jordan Davis, Jared Davis, Michael Stark; great-grandchildren, McKenna Davis., Domonic Davis, Austin Davis, Hunter Davis, Liam Byczynski; siblings, Rusty (Charlotte) Allen, Mike Allen, Barb (Tom) McNett, JoAnne (David), Carolyn (Donny) Mailer, Patricia Watson, Bonnie Lay; sisters-in-law, Patricia Laughlin, Dorothy Jones, Kay Stephens; and beloved feline friends, Amanda Mae, Sparky, and Angel. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lauglin; mother, Martha Allen, and special friend, James Laughlin.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, OH 43623. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial donations in Beverly’s name may be made to Paws and Whiskers Cat Shelter, 32 Hillwyck Drive, Toledo, OH 43615.
