Beverly S. King

Beverly S. King, 64, of Toledo, passed away on March 27, 2018 at Hospice of NW Ohio, Toledo. Bev was born on July 14, 1953 to Dolly L. (Cheatham) and George D. King in Toledo, Ohio. She was a graduate of Waite High School and worked as a Store Detective/Security for 38 years. Bev was employed by People’s Savings Bank, Charter One and Habitec. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies, spending time with her family and loved all animals, especially her dog, Taz. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Sharon (Merle) Stern and Robert Dutton; niece, Ginger (Bill) Monroe; nephew, Gary (Danice) Stern; great-nieces, Rebecca (Cody) Sedlar, Amanda (Tyler) Eaton, Cassondra, Melissa and Olivia Monroe; and great-great niece, Madison Phillips. She was preceded in death by her father, George King; mother, Dolly L. Parse; step-father, Roy Parse and grandmother, Anna King. Friends will be received on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121). Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tom Caldwell, officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury. Memorials may be directed to Humane Ohio, Hospice of NWOH or the Cherry St. Mission Ministries.
