Beverly A. Bebow

Beverly A. Bebow, 82, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away August 19, 2016 at the Riverview Senior Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born in Rocky Ridge, Ohio on October 29, 1933 to Clarence E. and Lila M. (Meyer) Brackett. On December 6, 1952, in Oak Harbor, she married Robert J. Bebow who preceded her in death in June of 1987. Beverly was a giving person who enjoyed helping others in their time of need. This carried over to animals as well. She took in many strays over the years that needed love and care. Beverly was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor and was active in the Altar Guild and Rachel Circle. She had also been a member of the Eastern Stars and the Riverview Nursing Home Auxiliary of Oak Harbor. Beverly is survived by her children, Mark (Kimberly) Bebow, Jackie (Sam) Zunk, her best friend and companion LeRoy Berlin, grandchildren, Kelly (Charles), Laura (Dereck), Heather (Tom), Jacob, Logan, great grandchildren, Aubrey Little Toad and Ty Ty Man along with siblings, Norma Blatt, Bob Brackett and Roger (Beth) Brackett. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert and sister, Jerry DiMasso. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2016 in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa St, Oak Harbor with interment to follow in the Salem Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Visitation will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday, August 25, 2016. The family suggest memorials be directed to the church.
