Betty M. Zunk, 86, of Woodville, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, in St. Charles-Mercy Hospital, Oregon. Betty was born February 8, 1922, in Woodville, Ohio, to Herbert H. and Martha M. Miller Kruse. She and her surviving husband, Kenneth W. Zunk, were married on September 6, 1941, in Woodville, Ohio. Betty was a devoted wife and farming partner. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and especially mowing their homestead. Being an outgoing, friendly person, she liked to dine out and enjoyed driving her Mustang, even in her 80s. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, Betty is survived by her children, Marian L. Wilson of Woodville, Bonnie L. Michael Cipriani of Elmore, grandchildren, Dawn Hugh Berkley of Kansas City, KS, David Kennette Wilson of Kansas City, MO, and Joseph Kimberly Cipriani of Elmore. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, William Bill Zunk, brothers, Richard and Delmar Kruse, and sister, Florence Sis Franchi. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 1, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008, in the funeral home with interment to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to the Elmore Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses.
