Betty Jane Yant

Betty Jane Yant age 85 passed on Wednesday November 11, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Betty was born on March 11, 1924 to Alfred and Edna Ducey. She was employed at the Toledo Blade, L.O.F. and as a travel agent in her later years. Betty was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and enjoyed going to the Maumee Elks with her husband. She is survived by her loving husband Charles A. Yant and daughter, Kathy E. Jackson. She was preceded in death by her son, James M. Yant; brothers, James and Robert Ducey. Family and friends may visit on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 4-7 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am.
