Betty Estrel White

Betty Estrel White, 85, of Stone Oak in Holland, passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2018 in the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born to John and Ethel Estrel, Betty grew up in the Point Place, Shoreland area. She attended Waite High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart Bill White who preceded her in death. Betty was a devoted and loving mother who lived for her kids. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking family dinners, cruising, and designing homes. She is survived by her four children, Bill (Jennifer) White, Danny (Sharon) White, Shelley (Tony Williams) White, and Diane Lazette; four grandchildren, Crystal (Todd) Zattau, Sandi Lazette, Sherri (Scot) Campbell, Bradley White; ten great grandchildren, Michael Mancy, Nick, Jake and Charley Campbell, Zack, Trace, Troy, Taylor, Trent, and Zia Zattau; and her sisters, Lou Brubaker and Ellen Elton. Betty was also preceded in death by her brothers, Dick and Ed Estrel. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018. Additional visitation will be held for a half hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
