Betty Jo Wears, 64, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away, Friday, April 15, 2016 at, her residence. Betty was born on July 04, 1951 in McCreary County, KY, the daughter of Curtis Andrew and Virgie Leona (Canada) Perry. She was a homemaker and worked at Aim’s Packaging, Kentucky Fried Chicken and loved making crafts. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 46 years: Kenneth D. Wears of Oak Harbor; Daughter: Melissa Wears of Port Clinton, OH; Son: Kenneth B. Wears of Oak Harbor; 2 Granddaughters: Tally Newman and Tabetha Cutcher; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Fred Perry, Donald Wayne Perry and wife Diadena, all of Whitley City, KY; Sisters: Freda Terrell of Elmore, OH, Beatrice Spradlin and husband Archie of Parkers Lake, KY; Brother-in-Laws: Kenneth E. Perry of Packers Lake, KY and Bob Vanover of Pleasant Plain, OH. Her parents, brothers: Kenneth Perry, Ralph Perry and Ronnie Marshall Perry, Sisters: Grace Rollins, Ann Lou Strunk, Reabble Vanover, Bonnie Sue Perry, Brenda K. Royster and one infant sister, preceded her in death. Visitation will be from 2-4PM & 6-8PM, Monday, April 18, 2016 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
