Betty J. Waggoner

Betty J. Waggoner, age 93, of Maumee, passed away January 8, 2016. She was born May 19, 1922 in Toledo to the late John and Lola (Quillian) Birtcher. Betty was the payroll clerk for Maumee Schools for more than 25 years. Survivors include her sons, Don Jr. and John (Dale); nine grandsons; sixteen great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Leibovich; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; sister, Mary Alice and brother, Bill. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services at 3:00 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
