Betty Teatsorth, 94, of Elmore, Ohio, died peacefully at Parkview Care Center in Fremont, Ohio, Saturday morning, April 18, 2015. She was born in Deshler, Ohio on May 11, 1920, to Burgess and Jessie (Jacqua) Shank. Betty graduated from Bowling Green High School, Bowling Green, Ohio. She also resided in Hoytville, Findlay and Genoa and worked at Sears Roebuck while in Findlay. Betty was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #324 and also a member of the Eastern Stars. On May 9, 1950, in Genoa, Ohio, Betty married Rex Teatsorth and he preceded her in death October 26, 1968. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Baker of Phoenix, Arizona, grandchildren, Kimberly (Kelly) Huett of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Bryan Clay Baker of Torrance, California and great grandchildren, Zachary Brown of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Brooke Baker of Palos Verdes, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Dr. Margaret Hersey, Pauline Croll and Gladeen Calkins, brother Richard Shank. Services will be private.
