Betty L. Smawley

Betty L. Smawley, age 92, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Betty was born on September 22, 1930 in Canton, Ohio to Ralph & Mary Lynn. She graduated from Warren High School in 1949.

On August 28, 1953, she wed her beloved Edgar, who passed away in September 2009 after celebrating 56 years together.

Betty enjoyed crossword puzzles, Jeopardy and most of all her family, all who survive her, daughter Carolyn (John) Fox; identical twin grandsons, John (Emily) Fox and Andrew (Carmen) Fox; and the light of her life her four great-grandchildren, Oliver & Theo and Carter & Jade. She always said how blessed she was to see her four great-grandchildren be born and spend time with them.

Services were privately held on October 28.

Betty's family would like to thank Sunset House for all of their care and compassion during mom's last months.
