Betty Jean Seem

Betty Jean (Boyd) Seem, age 84 of Perrysburg, went to be with our Lord surrounded by her loving family on Friday June 10, 2022.  She was born August 16, 1937 in Wood County to the late Norman and Dorothy (Rogers) Boyd. Betty Jean was a 1956 graduate of Perrysburg High School.  She did domestic work and elderly care outside the home. She was also a loving childcare provider.  She enjoyed garage sales finding treasures for family and friends and collecting unique glassware.

Betty Jean was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister and friend.  Those who loved and cherished her  the most were her husband, Morris Seem; daughter, Debra (Ken) Moore; son, Michael Seem; grandsons, Chad (Tina) Thieman, Craig Thieman,  and Curtis (Julie Heintz) Thieman; great-granddaughter, Isla Thieman; and brother Donald (Patty) Boyd.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Marissa Seem.

Friends may visit the family at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee  on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 after 11 am where services will follow at 1 pm.  Interment will be at  Webster Cemetery, Pemberville, Ohio.  The family asks that contributions in her memory be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Otterbein of Perrysburg and Northwest Ohio Hospice.   She will live within our hearts and through  precious memories until the day we rejoice with the Lord and be reunited for all eternity.  Love you forever and always, Your loving family.
