Betty Jeanne Schneider

Betty Jeanne Schneider, 97, passed away on December 3, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on December 28, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Bertha (Purkey) Konz.

She was a graduate of Devilbiss High School and attended the University of Toledo where she met her husband, Dale Schneider. Betty was active with the DeVilbiss reunion class of 45 committee.

Betty was a charter member the former Lake Park Auxiliary, and a life member of the Flower Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a Member of the United Church of Christ where she volunteered for many activities. Betty additionally volunteered for meals on wheels and always supported her children's activities.

Preceded in death by her son, Bob; husband, Dale; parents, Frank and Doris Konz; and brother, Lester Konz

Survived by her sons, Brian M. Schneider MD (Sue Kavorick) and Brent (Nancy); grandchildren, Kiersten, Lafe (Jenny), Drake, Kelly (Dillion), Christine (Mark) and Erin (Ben); 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She loved her family and was blessed with a wide circle of friends present and past

There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held for family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of NW Ohio or the Sylvania United Church

of Christ.
