Betty Sue Reed, age 74, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021. She was born on August 18, 1947, in Bristol, Virginia to Millard and Juanita Leonard. She married her Waite High School sweetheart, David Reed in 1969. Betty is survived by her loving husband, David Reed; daughters, Renee (Fred) Artiaga, Michele (Scott) Willis; grandkids, Ashley (Ian) Artiaga, Jessee (Rita) Artiaga, Samantha Cerveny, Tayler (Vinny) Cerveny, Kayleigh (Reed) Artiaga, Hunter Sterling, Reece Nichols, Chandler Nichols; great grandkids, Ethan, Justyn, Emmett, Amia, Isaac, Otto, Alaya, Ellie, Carter; sister, Joyce Dixon; and brother, John Leonard. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Juanita Leonard; son, Brian Reed; brother, Gene Leonard; grandson, Cameron Sterling; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Denny Reed. Betty loved the holidays, Christmas was her favorite, she loved decorating cookies and having all the family together. Pleasant View Campground was one of her favorite places, the family spent many summers there building fond memories. Her and Dave were always seen riding the golf cart around the campground. She loved crafts and enjoyed making them with her grandkids. Betty and Dave traveled over the years to many different states. Betty was an avid sports fan, she loved watching the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Tigers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Ohio State Buckeyes. Betty loved to go out to eat, her favorite restaurant was Cousino’s Steakhouse, where many birthdays, and special occasions were spent including her and David’s 50th Anniversary. Friends will be received at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave. (419-691-6768) on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.
