Betty Quisno

Betty Quisno, 81, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, January 06, 2011 at her residence. Betty was born in Port Clinton, OH on March 14, 1929 the daughter of Otto and Helen Ludwig Wodrich. On May 07, 1949 she married Donald Quisno and he preceded her in death on October 03, 1991. Betty worked as the head teller for the American Bank and then Society Bank. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH and was a member of the bereavement lunch committee and a collection counter. Betty helped with Meals on Wheels, the Humane Society and was the former treasurer of the Holiday Bureau. She loved cooking, baking, animals and taking care of others; when there was work to be done she could not sit still. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Betty was a loving mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend, and will be missed more than words can say. Survivors include: Son: Gary Becky Quisno of Oak Harbor, OH; Daughter: Beth Gerald Biskey Quisno of Louisville, KY; Grandchildren: Adam Fiance-Kristin Filicky Quisno of Akron, OH, Amanda Fianc-Ian Formaz Quisno of Cleveland, OH and Annie Quisno of Oak Harbor, OH; Sister-in-Law: Carol Brown of Port Clinton, OH; Brother-in-Law: Chuck Quisno of Port Clinton, OH and many loving nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Howard Wodrich and Donald Wodrich and sister: Mildred Moore. Visitation will be 4-8PM, Sunday, January 09, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:00AM, Monday, January 10, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with family prayers beginning at 9:30AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Betty may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Holiday Bureau, and Meals on Wheels or to the Ottawa County Humane Society.
