Betty L. Pokorney

Betty Pokorney passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the age of 94 surrounded by her family who meant the world to her. Betty lived independently in her own home which she took great pride in and loved to decorate for each holiday or season inside and out. She enjoyed her card clubs and girlfriend lunches, going to the casino and playing games with family and friends. She especially loved dancing and attended up until the last weekend before her passing.

Betty worked many years at Don’s Drive-In as a manager and waitress. Time spent at the lake was a favorite of Betty’s. Enjoying swimming, fishing and just relaxing by the water.

Betty was born in Toledo, OH to Amy (Fifer) and Russ Wenger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edmund Zoltanski, husband John Pokorney and sister Sharon Gregor (Al).

Betty is survived by her sons Ronald Zoltanski (Janet), Kenneth Zoltanski (Gloria), daughters Janice Wilson and Lisa Spinelli (Chuck Spencer). Grandchildren Shane Wilson, Julia Radwanski (Daniel), James Zoltanski (Dana), Jesse Wilson, Nicholas Spinelli, Taylor Rozelle Spinelli (Ashleigh), Tyler Zoltanski (Megan), her brother Dennis Wenger (Jean), 9 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd. Rossford, OH.  43460 with a funeral service at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Susan G. Komen.
