Betty served in the United States Air Force for over five years as part of the air traffic controllers’ unit. Betty loved to travel and took many trips across the US and Europe with her late husband, Bill. She was an avid sports fan and was a big supporter of her home-teams, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Betty continued to watch football into her later years and enjoyed watching professional wrestling, a pastime she used to enjoy with her parents as a teenager.

Betty was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly watching her children and grandchildren sporting events. She was active in the Church and enjoyed being social with her friends at Panera. She will be fondly remembered for being fiercely independent and for her loving support, kindness and generosity she showed her family and friends throughout her lifetime.
