Betty M. Lenga

Mrs. Betty M. Lenga, 83 years old, passed peacefully at the Aspen Grove Assisted Living Facility in Lambertville, MI. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 19, 1925. She attended the University of Toledo where she met her husband of 48 years, Joseph V. Lenga, who preceded her in death on December 7, 1995. She was a homemaker. Betty was an intelligent and quiet, private person who deeply loved and cared for her family. She is survived by her son, Michael J. Lenga, and daughter, Susan A. Heer Stephen A. Heer and three grandchildren Matthew Stacy, Joshua Stacy, and Sara Lenga. Extended family members include James and Stephanie Stewart, Drake Stewart, William and Melissa Metzger, and John Metzger. Family and friends may visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. Toledo, OH 43623 west of Corey Rd. 419 841-2422 on Friday December 12, 2008, from 4-8 pm for visitation and a brief Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. Cremation has taken place per Bettys wishes. The family would like to request consideration of the Joseph V. Lenga Scholarship Fund, for memorials to continue college opportunities for High School seniors.
