Betty R. Kuhn

Betty R. Kuhn, age 86, of Toledo, passed away peacefully fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother the Church Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at The Toledo Hospital. She was the daughter of Walter and Magdalene Reinbolt, born on July 29, 1922 in Fremont, Ohio. Betty, a lifelong resident of Toledo, was a member of Gesu Ladies Sodality, Flower Hospital and Toledo Hospital Auxiliaries, a past officer of Corey Woods Garden Club, a member of the Toledo Elks and St. Josephs Church in Sylvania. She volunteered at The Art Museum and for Mobile Meals. Mrs. Kuhn was a member of Inverness Country Club for over 50 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing golf and bridge, and traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Joseph Sellinger; son, Donald Charlene Kuhn; grandchildren, Joseph Cathy Sellinger, Jr., Jeffrey LeeAnne Sellinger, Jennifer John Corry, Kristie Jeremy Feeback, Todd Kuhn, Jacquelyn John Lombardi, and John Mary Jo Kuhn; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Robert Szkutnik; brother, Walter Patricia Reinbolt; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Melody Binion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kuhn and son, Ronald Kuhn. Friends and family may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Friday from 4 to 8 PM, where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 PM. Funeral prayers will begin at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of the Resurrection at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Sylvania at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to Notre Dame Academy or St. Francis DeSales High School or charity of the donors choice.
