Betty Jane Dubbert, 89, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Otterbein Northshore Retirement Center in Lakeside, Ohio. She was born on October 19, 1931 in Oak Harbor, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wilford “Bud” and Marie (Swope) Youster. On July 23, 1949 she married Ralph Dubbert, Sr. and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1986. Betty began her working career at Philco in Sandusky, Ohio testing tubes for radios. She then worked at the former Perry Pharmacy in Port Clinton, Bergman Orchards in Danbury Township, and the Peninsula Motel, retiring in 2014. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Danbury Township; and a member of the Danbury Township Senior Center. She enjoyed cooking, baking, tending to her flower garden, and fishing with her husband and father when she was younger. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Senior Center, and loved being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Ronald Dubbert, Oak Harbor, Ohio; daughter, Linda Guiher, Marblehead, Ohio; and Ralph Dubbert, Jr. (Barb Likes), Sandusky, Ohio; grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Guiher, Fred (Chrissie) Guiher, and Tammy (Joe) Bartzen; great-grandchildren, Janda Guiher, Leighanna and Graham Bartzen; brother, Bob Youster, Fostoria, Ohio; sister-in-law, Linda Dubbert; and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her great-grandson, Howard “Howie” Ray Bartzen; and son-in-law, Ray Guiher. Due to the Pandemic, Visitation and Services will be Private. Burial will take place in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Danbury Township. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Betty at a later date and all will be invited to attend..
