Betty J. B.J. Hulligan

Betty J. “B.J.” Hulligan, 90, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Sunday, May 07, 2017 at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Community, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. She was born on June 16, 1926 in Wooster, OH to David and Jennie (Cassidy) Grube. On December 28, 1984 in Lexington, KY she married John J. Hulligan, and he preceded her in death on September 28, 1993. Betty worked as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed reading and music. Betty is survived by her step-sons, John (Linda) Hulligan and William Hulligan, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step daughter, Patricia Fieger, step-daughter-in-law, Jenellen Hulligan , 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Per Betty’s wishes, cremation will take place under the direct care of the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH and private graveside services will be conducted in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Betty may be given to the Ida Rupp Public Library, Port Clinton, Catawba Island Volunteer Fire Department, or the American Cancer Society.
